We had zeroed in on NZ as our honeymoon destination long before we got married. We had decided to explore the country at our pace and not join herds in a tour.
We started surfing the internet for details of travel agents who could help us in laying out an itenary for a 3 week trip. We visited the tour biggies to check if they could design a customised itenary for a self drive trip through NZ. Emails were sent to various random email ids knowing well that most will go unanswered. Over a period of 4 months we worked together with Miteshbhai to design the most apt itenary to explore NZ by road.
He not only helped us design our itenary and make hotel bookings but also helped us pre book adventure sports and cruises and select the best car rentals.
Any doubts regarding the trip were cleared by Miteshbhai promptly.
Our trip to NZ would be one of the most memorable trips and a perfect honeymoon.
P.S. :
1. Don't forget to ask Miteshbhai to include Franz Josef, Mt.Cook and Paihia in your intenary for a magical experience.
2. Don't forget your sun block and sun glasses if you are visiting NZ in summer ! (which is the best time to be there)
3. Don't worry about shelling out the few extra dollars for renting a car to drive through NZ to see the country at its best! Its worth each cent. Younever know what each bend of the road has in store for you! Its sweet as!

I had planned for Australia & New Zealand for my honeymoon and was looking for a vendor who can give me the best experience. But later dropped Australia as it is huge country to explore. I happen to "try" Otium just because he was a sepcialist in New Zealand & was able to offer me customized itenarary. I did not wanted to go in a group packages as they make you run everywhere in limited time which becomes very hectic. I wanted relaxed trip, explore the new locations as I am avid amatuer photographer (believe it or not I clicked 4000+ pictures there) & at the same time spend some quality time together with my wife. Otium travels just did that, they planned it in such a way that half day was planned while other half was at my discretion to explore.
It was a fantabulous experience to say the least. New Zealand is amazing destination for honeymooners or if you are photographer or seeking adventure. If you want to get away from get away from crowd, enjoy natural breath taking beauties, photogenic locations, pure fresh air, friendly people, lot of great food & drinks you have to be there. I did not know kiwis were so friendly people looking at their neighbors. We went in December which is suppose to be their summers, but were in for a surprise, the climate was chilly weather and pleasant throughout New Zealand. The summers in NZ were more colder than winters in Mumbai so we were very happy.
We started from Northland Auckland, Bay of Islands, Rotorua, Paihia & then moved to South Island Queenstown, Mt. Cook, Milford Sounds & back home from Christchurch. The best part was we got to see Singapore for a whole day since we were travelling on Singapore Airlines. Singapore has a free city tour if your in transit to Australasia on Singapore Airlines.
Coming back to NZ Everything there is meant for encouraging tourism industry. It is so well organised. I did not had to worry about missed bus, miss times, lack of co-ordination. It is most important for any traveller to experience a perfect holiday & especially if you are in honeymoon I did not wanted to be in soup in front of my wife for the very first time! When I first landed there I was so tensed about their "cleanliness" rules but after 10 days I realised why they are so finicky about people caryying "dirt" in their country. We had got new pair of shoes & after roaming entire nation they were as new & clean as they were when I had taken them out of the shoe box! Kiwis value their cleanliness & natural resources so much so that their national bird kiwi is protected like a head of state.
The owner of Parekh Holidays (Formerly known as Otium Travels), Mitesh Parekh personally took care of all our requirements and were very helpful. So if you are going to New Zealand you have to rely on Otium travels.

First of all I would like to thank you for arranging the wonderful Honeymoon Australia trip for me which was one of my dream places to visit.
To begin with, I was made comfortable at very early stage with my negotiations with him, he was prompt and prudent with his response & feedback. I was provided with the final itinerary which contained detailed info including Indian restaurants which is must needed in a different country. The job was not over for Mitesh, to give a instance due to the chinese new year I was asked if I can reschedule to a different cruise in Cairns for which I consulted Mitesh, he was prompt to discuss with his supplier and gave me a very prompt response arranging everything without me bothering much. Basically I want to stress on the factor that he co-ordinated till my tour was over.
I am now planning for another country tour with Mr. Mitesh Parekh and even have recommended his name to others.
